It started when I was a kid. My parents wouldn't let me get a pet, so I would imagine what having a pokemon for a pet would be like. Standard shit.
Imagine having a fucking Jinx. Just.... fucking there. At night in the corner of your room where a dog might sleep, but instead it's staring at you. Doing whatever the fuck a Jinx does.
How do you give it proper care and attention when it creeps you the fuck out? I would brush a Growlithes hair, pick up after its crap, love it and feed it and all that jazz.
It's just fucking disturbing with anthro pokes. Either you have to do those things with an uncanny valley humanoid creature, or it's smart so it just does those things on its own and needs you for nothing. Maybe even takes care of you. Who's the pet then?
Then I grew up, and we all know it's the anthro pokes that get the most R34. Cemented my hatred in facts: the majority of people who like anthro pokes are clearly degenerates who enjoy the concept of owning a person.
And some - I assume - are good people.
