I should probably try to draw him with that one Piccolo driving outfit.
>Thread question: What is your Trainer's favorite Training Method?Koa is very hands-on when it comes to training with his partners. For the more anthropomorphic ones like Mo-o or Rebel (the Gabite), he exercises along with them, first thing after breakfast. Others, like Sandy (Larvitar) and Chomper (Tyrunt) do specialised training by lifting rocks. Koa has a lot of special routines that they all do together: They practise new moves or help each other with double battle techniques. It's not all just battle training, though: Koa makes sure all his partners have the best diets he can afford, and that they're all at peace with themselves and the environment. Sometimes, they do "survival training" where they all live out in the Canyon for maybe 2 days, keeping a fire lit, protecting a tent and foraging. Koa's team is really a big family for him.

Kinda funny, because Koa would notice the dragon blood in Grim Darkwood and initially look up to him, until he notices that he basically dropped that for Dark types, and that he's also kind of a murderer. Although apparently he's also a good guy? Koa would probably think that Grim Darkwood should answer for his murders or do something important to redeem himself.
I'm considering making Koa part Dragon Clan, honestly. Maybe Zinnia's clan had a diaspora that spread to Sinnoh and Unova? His grandparents are from Unova. This would probably come up later on in the story, anyway. Koa was raised in Alola and he loves Alola like nothing else. There's no way he'd drop all that to become a Zinniafag. Like how Goku is a Saiyan, but he was raised on Earth.
