>>379206251. Gastrodon - Like Venomoth, didn't give it notice until I actually used one. It just doesn't die no matter what, and still dishes out a tonne of damage in the process. First time I nuzlucked in Platinum, Gastrodon definitely carried my run. And since then, I've been a sucker for this thing. I've also come around to loving the idea of different forms based on the area of the region, and I really which they would expand on this by either introducing more Pokémon with the same premise, or introducing more Gastrodon forms. I love moth forms equally, they're different enough to be unique in their own way yet I love them both for the same reason.
2. Heracross - Looks great, very powerful in battle, loved it in the anime when I was young. Nothing else to say really, Heracross is just awesome.
3. Whimsicott - Adorable, and also very fun to use in battle. I have the utmost respect for utility mons who greatly succeed in setting up the rest of your Pokémon to power through the opponent's team.
4. Sneasel - Always thought it looked really cool, and it brings back a lot of great memories. The thought of actually owning a Sneasel while also embarking on many adventures just sounds like a chill time.
5. Golurk - Loved it since it was first introduced, I mean come one, a giant ghost automaton? It speaks for itself why I think Golurk is amazing.
