>>47338023I think you're right. At this point I think JRPGs fundamentally can't be difficult without horrible balance. But even so, I still think the series is capable of fun and interesting battles even if they aren't hard. Pic related is one of my favorite fights in pokemon. Lot of cool choices and the movesets are nice too. I like fights like this. I really hate it when a game has uninteresting boss battles, otherwise it's really hard to replay it.
