Goldenrod.In my playthough I sent over both a porygon and chansey at lvl 39 or so with a stacked moveset to fillout my team. They evolved into their gen two evolutions respectively.

Honestly it was much better than kanto and had some interesting features. Anything post-johto was garbage because competing monster series outclassed pokemon performance wise, mystery dungeon blew out gamefreak's efforts and proved how shit they were.
