They really haven’t had any kind of measurable negative impact on the environment since they fill a niche that was previously unoccupied. Not really as invasive as most introduced species, the most they do is bother people with noise, occasionally blow transformers with their nests, and clean out birdfeeders. Cool to see a Pokémon made out of them for Spain, even though I would’ve loved to see more native birds represented a la Flamigo.
