It was rated UU in both gen 6 and 7, powercreep was starting to become crazy by then and I think the fact it was only a tier under shit like garchomp, lando T, and tapu koko is a far cry from the absolute shitmon status it previously endured. In double it's pretty bad but doubles is just not catered to fast glass cannons, probably still fun at least. As the world's #1 beedrillfag I feel like the mega was a stroke of luck, an actual bottom tier third stage shitmon got an update and both the gameplay and physical design are pretty good. A lot of megas don't even get one of the those things.
