it makes no sense for several reasons, like how does challenging the league even work when 4 (or more?) of its members are locked up in an orphanage
and how were all these literal children able to train up gym leader/elite four level teams while locked up in an orphanage.
and how does doc electrorape continue to get away with this, when high ranking gym leaders have first hand experience with what he does, why doesnt the rest of the league do anything about it? We know Ame (the character) is supposed to be a good sort so presumably if they were aware of it they would have intervened, same with some of the other leaders. And how could they not know when again, a bunch of the league is living there?
and (maybe this one is explained or handwaved and I forgot) all that aside why doesnt saphira just tear the place up the moment she's out in the first place
As I play through I'll probably remember more ways this makes no fucking sense
