Glitter Lighthouse was built on an area where Pokemon with natural light would help ships at sea not crash
Embedded Tower was built by people in the past to be a tower that touches Land, Air and Sea as a shrine to the Hoenn Legendaries
Sprout Tower has a legend that the giant beam in the middle used to be a giant Bellsprout

Every trainer on the Pokegear has different quirks when talking to you, one will tell you to call your mom after sharing stories about their own kids, one will call you by accident, another talks about how he's gotten better, but says in that time you must have as well
Chuck spends all his time training in the Fighting Gym and his wife is standing outside wishing he'd hang out more. While you get every other Gym Leader's number from the person, you get his from his wife
It's why playing through the region it feels like a fully realised world. Things have a reason for existing and the world doesnt revolve 100% around the MC's journey
