>>19960997I've been running a Red/Blue team from the very beginning. There's just so interesting about the both of them (and by proxy, probably all the player characters). They don't follow themes or types. They play with what's suitable for them. Red uses the Pokemon he met in his travels, the Pokemon that became his friends. Green/Blue does something similar, but picks the best and strongest.
Which is not to say he prefers Smogon over Karen philosophy. He still plays with his favorites. But like Red, he is not limited by others' expectations. He'll train an Alakazam, not because he's a Psychic trainer, but because fuck you.
