I noticed the Misty design in the gameplay footage is her LGPE design while Brock’s is his HGSS design, so I’m pretty sure there’ll be different variations of characters tied to each banner released. And different variations obviously means new Pokémon for that respective version of the character.
Like for example, we see Cynthia with her Garchomp in her regular design. However we could also get Cynthia in her Unova vacation design from the anime, and she could have Milotic or Lucario. It’s pretty fun to think about all the possible variations we can get.
