Hell, they could have even outsourced the modelling like they did with Stadium and the GC games.
A tiny studio managed to shit out the models for the original Pokemon Stadium for the N64 (Japan only) in less than 2 years, and this was when the series hadn't still come out of Japan and when 3D modelling was far harder because there were so few people who could do it.
I don't buy it, this is GF trying to stir shit and controversy for attention. They even allowed transferring mons from Gens I and II to modern generations with the virtual console and now they drop this shit?
