I did it. The Champion took a lot of tries because my team was around lv68 and only Batterex was lv70.
Rectreem has been useful for all the game, people weren't kidding when they said it was the best starter.
Fazeagle was mostly useless, but I needed Fly for the story and sometimes Thief was useful.
Ginuke's Fire Gem boosted V-Create was a joy to use since you get the Fire Gem back after every battle in the E4.
Spilefree was good, but not amazing because no Life Orb
Batterex with Choice Band and Fabkube with Choice Scarf destroyed the E4.
I had a blast with Clover, now I can't wait to see the postgame. Thanks to the devs.
My only complaint is that even after 1.1, the level cap and the exp share may need further rebalancing since from route 11 on, the exp gained skyrockets, so I had to turn the exp share off from there and never felt the need to turn it back on.
