You can 100% evaluate a game within your mind and compare it to past and present games and all sorts of universally recognized criteria. You can look at what is more universally appealing and form an opinion with that as well. You can also look at genuine facts, like the length of the game, the bugs, the glitches, the difficulty, the range of sounds, the level of control, all sorts of factual things.
I mean if you're telling me that a game like Atari's ET is objectively the same as a game like Zelda : Breath of the Wild, then you are just being completely ignorant and you're living in a reality where common sense just doesn't exist.
