That said, I totally get your point about just using AI for a lack of motivation. And I think that's fine! I don't wanna put anyone down. AI is a cool tool for character creation, so much fun to easily tweak your character with. Zatch got some very pretty looks out of it.
I for one do both. Lots of artists look down on AI but I think it's fun to play around with and give my drawings different styles.
And btw I like your designs. They're quirky and original, very fitting for the world of Pokémon with its colorful cast of characters. Like something that I would do cosplay of - striking and recognizable.
