Have you guys seen the TCG illustrator contest entries?

I hope some of these illustrators eventually get hired for freelance. I bet some unemployed internet artist is a lot cheaper than some of the 3D artists they have.
There's plenty of angles and compositions in these cards that TPCI have kinda phazed out since the ex era. Angles that obscure the main body, crazy foreshortening and dynamic movement, and the Pokemon's back facing the camera are all common here, but have not been in the TCG since 2006.
