Hell, maybe the shiny is the reason you like it. You could apply the same principle here. They actually like Nessa's design, but they didn't realize they liked it until they saw the 'shiny'.
Of course, this is all totally irrelevant because it's pretty obvious they're just doing it to be edgy and troll, but whatever.
