Gotta love those spontaneous midnight strokes of inspiration. And since writing n drawing those scenes out gave me a recharge for my art battery... Here ya go

>>58603557Feel a bit bad for not commenting more on Val, I do like the perspective a lot and the shenanigans he gets up to, I just kinda lose track of stories when they're not posted as raw greens or updated rentries, definitely wanna get back around to catching up on Val's soon! I do like the yokai idea a lot (like I said, Kartanon gets the weeb from somewhere after all), you could lean into a buncha different superstitions in general if you wanna try that angle, specially seeing as Pokemon itself pulls from a lotta different sources. Choice paralysis can be a nightmare but I'm sure whatever you go with in the end'll work out for the best!
