I play both standard Smogon tiers and VGC, depending on my mood, but it can all get kinda bland and samey as the cream of meta rises to the top. So what's your favorite non Smogon/VGC format? How often do you play it? Where do you find people to play?
I've poked my head into other formats like Little Cup, NFE, Monotype, etc and I find them super fun and novel, but it takes forever to find people to play. I've been doing monotype in random online battles, but which makes them a little zestier, but I'd still rather be playing against other fun teams.
