Rewatch the trailer. Each generation is named with the year it began. Sun and Moon were announced with 2016. This isn't "Kalos but with more features and forms." Maybe it does take place in southern Kalos, but it will likely be a region all its own. It's a brand new engine, with brand new Pokemon, in a brand new region. I can't even begin to grasp how you can think this is a gen 6 game.
