Crucemire from the root of "excruciating" or "crucify" in the sense of painful torture, and "pismire," an archaic word for ant are a Dark/Bug type based on bullet ants and they center mostly around flinching - the in-lore reason being that they have an extremely painful sting - and are never encountered alone in the wild.
Also they have gender differences - I figure the top is male and the bottom is female - and the females are the only ones that evolve.
