Back when XY was still fresh, a number of anti-Galladefags within Gardevoir fandom used the 'lel, no mega forever!' status to boost their satisfaction from knowing that fans of the very Pokemon they hate will be butthurt for the rest of the gen.
However, when 'lel, inner focus!' happened before stat leak, far less Gardefags used that for their amusement than back in early XY - and all despite the fact that Wally's male Gardevoir has been swapped for M-Gallade.
Nearly all of the shit flinging related to early M-Gallade took place on /vp/ and involved self-depreciating Galladefags pitted against trolls and shitposters. Outside of this board there was nothing among Gardefagdom to reflect those pre-ORAS shifts.
