People with college degrees usually don't want to work at the grocery store where there are constant shift changes, don't find enough mental stimulating challenges, and have few future advancement opportunities. Mentally challenged people actually enjoy the repititious work, don't mind the shift work and shift changes because they weren't out partying the night before, are reliable and dedicated workers, and won't quit when they don't get promoted. Once the person is trained and loyal to the grocery store, they are reliable on-time hard working employees who want to do their best. There are other jobs for mentally challenged but packing, sorting, and repetitive work either manual or on computers is usually what they get like to do and get hired for.
