Back in the day I used Shiny Altaria/Shiny Meganium/Shiny Azumarill and they all came out to at least 1496cp. While they were mostly in the top 1000, they're no where close to rank 10. Even outside of that, my friend just maxed a rank 4 shiny Stunfisk he found in the wild for GL.
Regular people have good shiny luck too, y'know.
