>>51524845SUCCESS! Here's my E4 experience:
>SidneyPretty easy with Sceptile and Swellow cutting down most of his team, except I lost Torkoal to a crit Rock Slide from Absol. Shame since I barely got to use Torkoal, having caught him right before all the water routes took over the game.
>PhoebeManectric bit everything to super death.
>GlaciaManectric zapped most of her team except for the one time I got to use Solrock in this E4 challenge against a Glalie.
>DrakeWhiscash swept with Ice Beam until swapping with Sceptile to take down Kingdra, then went back in to tank several Dragon Claws from Salamence. Whiscash was definitely one of my favorites this run since I've never used one before and he served the Swampert-at-home role perfectly.
>WallaceManectric zapped Wailord and Gyarados before switching with Sceptile to chop up the enemy Whiscash. Wallace cut to the chase and sent out MILOTIC to end this shit early. Really gambled here with keeping Sceptile in against Milotic's Ice Beam, and I figured Manectric wouldn't survive his Surfs. Surprisingly he went for Toxic first while I went for Leaf Blade, then Milotic shot an Ice Beam and Sceptile BARELY survived while ALSO surviving poison damage. Both of us healed and I spammed Leaf Blade while Wallace had a stroke and used Surf on a Grass type. Eventually Sceptile killed with a crit like a true swordsman.
Tentacruel came out so I swapped in Whiscash who OHKO'd with EQ, and finally Ludicolo was sent in for a last stand. I sent Swellow out for a first time in a while and unfortunately was smacked by a tidal wave that drowned my poor birb. This was the furthest I had gotten with a Swellow on my team out of the Gen 3 Hoenn games....oh well, better luck in Gen 6. Sceptile avenged his fallen brother and went Fruit Ninja on the dancing pineapple with another crit Leaf Blade (god I love this move).
This was probably my favorite run through Hoenn so far. Onto LeafGreen next!
