>>49984112I really liked the vacation adventure vibe of Alola. It just felt so bright and optimistic most of the time. The fun cast and great character designs really helped with that too. Just running around on islands, being the origin story for a pokemon league. Aesthetically it's my favorite Gen by far for those reasons, really felt like a paradise, right down to alien animals showing up to ruin it
