Ignoring the schizoposting to share some actual thoughts;
I watched it last year and thought it was a pretty good movie. The story was simple and detached from the rest of the universe so you didn't need any prior context/understanding of the world outside of the basic knowledge of what a Pokemon is, but at the same time the world didn't feel like it was dumbed down in any way.
Having random Pokemon just existing in the background as people's partners or wild ones was charming and really made it feel like a world where Pokemon were truely a part of people's lives (and not just a Pokemon themed skin slapped over a generic movie idea).
You can also tell the people making this movie genuinely cared about Pokemon because the attention to detail on even minor aspects of the set design is great. Picrel, scattered around the office you can see a King's Rock, a Prism Scale, a Nevermelt Ice and various evolution stones, as well as the obvious detail of the 3 statues (and him sat beneath them, foreshadowing he's the bad guy because that's where Giratina would be relative to the others).
As for the Pokemon designs, I liked them. They're weird and sometimes a little uncanny but I think they did a really good job considering the scale of the task; trying to convert a large cast of monsters with diverse features and body types (that have mostly existed in a 2d animated medium) into 3d characters that can co-exist with live-action setpieces isn't an easy feat, and I think they pulled it off as best they could; they straddle the line between being these weird, colourful monsters while still having characteristics that make them believable as companions/pets.
Overall a good movie that you could probably watch with anyone who isn't a huge Pokemon fan, while still having a lot of charm and finer details clearly designed for more dedicated fans.
