>>43351797Electric and fighting are definitely hurting design-wise due to mostly being orange and yellow recolored animals, but fighting is alright I think. It's a lot of humanoids and bipeds but that's what you're in for with a type like that, and at least that gives them a strong identity among the rest, and variation between fighting types given that isn't bad at all.
Only tangentially related but I like the way Dragon and Bug are handled now compared to how they were originally intended to be, and they're kind of mirror cases. I don't think there should be dedicated rare super types like old dragon and designated early game shitter ones like old bug, and it should be BST, abilities, and movepools that separate out the strong from the weak. So seeing dragon have more unconventional and traditionally imposing mons nowadays provides the type with more fun variety, and while bug always had a lot of variety seeing its steady climb in strength and usability from around gen 5 is much appreciated as well.
