>>56042705>switching out and back doesn't fix it>using a pokeball doesn't fix it>using defense curling 4 more times doesn't fix it>knocking out the opponent's pokemon doesn't fix it>having MY pokemon knocked out doesn't fix itIt also works with other status moves such as mist, taunt, and recycle. And it also works when I spam lick into a wild normal type, leading me to believe it works on EVERY move
Interestingly enough interrupting the chain of 4 makes it so I can't cause the break even if I use defense curl 4 times afterwards, regardless of if my defense is boosted or not. It also doesn't work if I use a a different move before the four that break the AI.
Despite this, even if I switch my pokemon out if the first four actual moves I use in a battle are the same, the AI breaks and I effectively automatically win
What an interesting bug
>>56042722My informants have informed me that it's because I'm but a child who doesn't understand research and progress
>>56042774Aye, I'll still play through the rest of the game just to hear the story though
Also if something can take my pokemon out in less than four turns I'll have to actually battle normally
