I lost Blastoise to Darach unfortunately. That Metagross's Meteor Mash was no joke. I went back and forth as to what to use as a replacement, and originally settled on Starmie. I trained it up and went to go buy the Thunder TM from the dept. store only to find out that it wasn't there anymore, and neither was the Thunderbolt TM at the game corner, so I settled for Empoleon, which ended up benefitting me in the Byron fight.
Empoleon was able to learn Yawn via move tutor, so I just led with her, yawned Byron's lead, then switched to Lucario and maxed out my attack with Swords Dance then proceeded to sweep through with Earthquake/Drain Punch. I've heard the Galactic fights after Candice are really hard so I guess we'll have to see about that. I'll report back after this round of Galactic boss fights.
