Who else is suspicious that GF is making 2018 all about legendary pokemon because they're going to cool it on the legendaries for the next few gens? Gen 6 barely had any, and while gen 7 had a few, it mostly introduced new UBs. Which, while they're practically the same thing as legendaries with a different coat of pain, are sort of a different group as evident by some of the marketing for the legendary distributions.
What if that's because gen 8 might only introduce a handle of legendaries (with or without some sublegends) but include a good number of new UBs? Or if not UBs, another new group of ultra rare pokemon with important lore?
