We take on the grunts, Lucario cleans house as usual, and then Diark sends out Dark Lugia against me.
Dark Lugia, rather than spamming its über move Dark Beam, just uses Shadow Ball over and over again and it must have PITIFUL Attack because it did no damage against anything. It also spammed Whirlwind after Furbait boosted, so I just poisoned and Cursed it to kill it in three turns.
Then we get

Then the Ranger says he gives me something out of appreciation (he didn't actually give me anything at all, I checked), and takes me back to Borora like nothing happened.
