Do you guys think Pokemon will ever do any crossovers with other franchises outside of Smash Bros? Not necessarily games or anything "canon," but more likely promotional merchandise or something of that nature. I would like to see Pokemon do a crossover with Godzilla, since Toho distributes the Pokemon movies in Japan, and the Godzilla movies were a major influence on Satoshi Tajiri when it came to designing Pokemon. Toho's current director over the "Godzilla universe" IP is very open to doing crossovers with other franchises to bring the Japanese icon back into prominence. Godzilla has even done a crossover with Hello Kitty, which is also well-known for doing crossovers with other franchises. It wouldn't surprise me if we eventually got some kind of Pokemon/Hello Kitty promotional items, since Sanrio also did a crossover with Animal Crossing in the past.
