Surely unpopular opinion, but the more I see from the region the more I like it. I love regional variants and most of the designs added on this gen. The totems are more challenging than most of the previous gyms/gym leaders and it has surely the most difficult mid game battle in a Pokemon game. Fuck, even the alola anime is pretty decent and the arc with necrozma is pretty good.
Also, the first stage of the starters is the best one we've got since 1-3, talking about complete 3 pack.
