Why is poke'mon as a mode of transportation so rare outside of the orange islands?
There is that race episode where several very different poke'mon are used as transportation and then another episode I never watched where Ash and Gary apparently tie themselves to their poke'mon and have then drag them around on Skateboards.
There is an episode where Ash rides his Pidgeot.
It is The Giant Eagle problem all over again only worse because everyone should have one but don't.
