>>49105726i like it a fair bit but desu they made some dumb design choices here and there, like dark and sorta steel types being real uncommon. doesn't help they're mostly in kanto where most gym leaders ain't too tough, but they're found low level so ya gotta grind em up if ya want them on the team when it'd easier to just steamroll to blue with the team you faced the elite 4 with. you could use the exp share sure but then you'll be underleveled for red. plus like a 1/3rd of the johto mons are tend to be pretty weak, doesn't help that some are hidden away pretty well. despite all that though the region is really cozy and a great followup to kanto thematically, what with it just undergoing modernization.
