That being said, you need to remember that a unique set can often be a simple pushover to the right sweeper, so you'll have to play twice as smart if you want your unique set to really push through.
Biggest piece of advice I can give you if you're serious about putting in a unique set or mon: Practice RELIGIOUSLY with it in your set of 3 on cart or SD, regardless of known counters/sweeps/low expectations. Nothing irons out the strategy quite like forcing it to the spotlight and seeing its mortality. Once you know what can kill it through repeated offenses, you'll come to find where it fits best as well as where your team can pick up their slack if they need.
Hope that helps, and really hoping to see a lot of unique sets in this tourney. Because I'll enjoy watching unique sweeps a thousand times more than I will watching a simple OU vs OU dick measuring competition.
