Decided to do a run of X with an additional rule. If there's a Kalos pokemon in the route, it gets encounter priority over other encounters. I really don't want to play a 3ds game only to end up with a glorified Kanto team. If there's no new Kalos pokemon in a route, standard encounter rules apply.
Anyway, first gym done and you really need to give them props for not just making it a gym that you can sweep only with your fire-type starter, it's really well done.
>Send out Dazzle against Viola's Surskit. Dazzle takes out the Surskit with two Struggle Bugs as it sets up a Water Sport.>Viola then sends out her Vivillon, I swap to Plum on an Infestation. Plum tries to peck away at the Vivillon but it gets a crit Tackle and Infestation gets the unlucky 5-turn trap, killing the Fletchling. I swap to Lumini to finish the job with one Ember.Regional birds have shit luck in Nuzlockes, huh?
