Z-moves are somewhat interesting in-concept, but it's a completely mindless 1-shot and the long drawn-out attack sequence is annoying (especially the goofy-ass tribal dance shit). It's only somewhat more balanced since it can only be used once.
Dynamax is a lame rehash combining both megas and z-moves, and ends up being even more unbalanced since it's basically just z-moves but it can be used 3 times in a row making it even more unbalanced. At least the transform sequence isn't as long or dumb.
All 3 of them are caked with cheap fanservice, with popular mons getting unfair special treatment resulting in them being heavily buffed and overpowered.
TL;DR: They all are shit-ass, flashy, unbalanced 1-shot gimmicks primarily used as a lazy selling point and to push cheap fanservice
