Zoroark are based off the Kitsune of japanese folklore.
A common trope is for a Kitsune to transform into a beautiful woman, marry a man, start a family, and then abandon that family once they get found out for foxes.
It qould explain a lot if Ghetsis unknowingly fell in love, married, and had a child with a Zoroark, only to learn the truth of their identity and be abandoned with their child, along with a burning hatred of all pokemon
