The Pokespe chapter where Red and Blue got their teams swapped up and just trained with them for a few days instead until they found each other again, adapting some quirks of the other trainer along the way. Why this hasn't been a thing in the anime for over two decades is weird to me atleast and it's something I would like to see with Liko, Roy and Dot.
