>>37278691Personally I would prefer that the character is differentiated only by its qualities, characteristics and defects. But a slight change is acceptable, as long as it was not against the aesthetics of the base character.
For example, a lopunny that uses a hair band on its ears to simulate a ponytail is fine, it is not a sudden change and it would give a sporty touch to the character, but giving patches of colors or human hair is too much.
