Again, the pacing here is just so weird. I do think these regions of the game are very charming though.
Was actually kinda scared of the Fairy gym, it's a scary type and my only mon with supereffective moves still took neutral damage. Had a close call against a gym trainer too, a crit dazzling gleam from a Slurpuff almost killed Shuriken because I forgot she's a Dark type and they're weak to fairy.
In the end Punker the Toxicroak only took down Valerie's Mawile before being scared off by Mr Mime. Put it to sleep with Coco, then set up on it and swept with Ninjask again. Kinda surprised the little guy is still carrying his weight, and now that he has Baton Pass I feel like we're really gonna have fun.
Team Flare was a joke again, unlike the random ace trainer in Frost Cavern. Stayed in with Granbul because we had bite and thought intimidate would lower its attack enough, which was a mistake.
So that means we're adding Gearbox the Magneton and Greenland the Avalugg to the team. Magnezone is always great, though it's kinda cruel that it can only evolve in the route with just ground tyoes, and everyone knows slow defensive ice types are great.
Also the amount of female encounters I keep getting is insane.
