Also in X and Y a lot of stuff had weird outlines around them, I enjoy that they mostly ditched that.
Kinda sucks that they didn't continue the Mega Evo thing though. Sure it was OP on certain mons but if they focused more on shitmons who could benefit from it, it would have been neat.
People like Gothitelle or Phantump who do a job well, but notably worse than their peers and are not used much. Instead we got Megas for entirely competent mons like Blaziken, Charizard, Mewtwo, Rayquaza.
