Eclesia was a great time, it was bizarre and interesting as it was advertized if not more, the visuals are great, the music is generally fantastic too, what few regionals there are look from mediocre to pretty good, I didn't like the design for the Chimchar regional or Piplup's, I get what they were going for but I didn't like it, Turtwig's regional looks fantastic and it might genuinely be one of the most broken fakemon I've ever seen. I think my biggest issue with the game aside from one that I'll mention later is that the characters barely exist, the rivals aren't great or interesting, I didn't feel anything for them at any point and most other major characters don't really interest me either, which is odd because the NPCs and the ominous ambience the region and game in general give off is incredible, granted a bit far too Yiddish for someone like me, but it gives me fuel for shitposting so I don't mind it too much. Overall I can easily say this game scores an 8.5/10 for me, it would have been slightly higher but I don't like the monotype lock, I understand it's story based and such, but I didn't like it. Highly recommend this game and I can easily see myself playing it again in the future.
