I dont know, call me crazy, but may be just add a difficulty setting so everyone can enjoy it. It shouldnt be that difficult put different difficulty levels and may be with a bit of effort some checkboxes at the beginning with some additional gimmick options.
Lot of games have those sort of things. Doesnt seem like lot to ask to me.
