Really think about the transition from BW2 to XY. They had to make models for all the pokemon that existed at that point and animate them, as well as making the whole 3D region. It turned out pretty cool, Lumoise City was really cool back then.
Of course, XY does have its problems. Like pic related for instance. What the FUCK is this? XY undeniably has the worst battles in the franchise, but overall though XY did a lot for the games.
