>>56347611I'm reading Pokespe for the first time right now and I unironically got more hyped when I reached the Crys intro volume (which is literally the current volume I'm reading).
Mato had some great panels but it was more akin to cartoon network vibes, it's good and I guess it fits gen 1 key art but it's not what I would want for the following gens, I'm liking the more physically detailed characters and backgrounds in this volume.
Then again, I have no nostalgia for the OG artstyle because I never had these manga as a kid, maybe that plays a part.
