If they had even just left the eyes a solid green color I would have liked it much more. For some reason we go from the first form, where the green spots are cheeks and the eyes are just two black dots. Then the next form loses the dots and just has the green spots for eyes. Then the final form has the green spots for cheek patches again, but this time also has cutesy green eyes.
I just don't understand what they were thinking. It's like they got to Goodra and realized, "SHIT, we're almost doing something weird and original here! Better make a throwback to Dragonite to supplement all the other things we've done to cater to the old RBY crowd this gen!"
