>>39042296>at the end of the day, though, they're really just the same old pokemon holding an item. They fall into an inbetween category if anything. They're a temporary evolution.
>i REALLY doubt that's going to happen. they've already made it clear that this is a permanent policy change and they've ignored all fan feedback on it. They've ignored feedback because this has been some of the weakest backlash I've ever seen. People on here will try to claim otherwise but 60k dislikes on some video is unironically hilariously low. You've got to remember that new gens sell at bare minimum 15 million units. Imagine if 60k people didn't buy that (and you should know as well as me that out of those 60k people a good chunk are just bluffing and will buy the game anyway if nothing actually changes, don't try to pretend that this isn't what's going to happen). I still think they'll announce that they're gonna add the rest of the Pokemon to a national dex a few months after the game has released but due to how minimal the outrage is maybe they won't.
>my guess is that their strategy will be to try to distract normalfags by confirming that every kanto pokemon has made the cutOh no doubt about it. They're not gonna cut Kanto mons. No fucking way. As long as Kanto are in they will have the lionshare of the fanbase at their disposal, including the GO audience which they first convinced to get a Switch via LGPE.
People like to meme that GF is incompetant but you don't become the highest grossing piece of video game media of all time by being incompetant, they know the importance of Kanto and if there was ever one crowd they wouldn't fuck with it's the Kanto fanbase.
